How to cast YouTube from phone to pc/laptop

Today we will learn how to watch YouTube on pc/laptop using cast option from your Android or iOS device.

How do I go about this tutorial you might wonder? I have a laptop from 2006 and we use it while using AC in another room which doesn't have TV.

You need to install  custom userAgent string extension https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/custom-useragent-string/lejiafennghcpgmbpiodgofeklkpahoe?hl=en-US&utm_source=ext_sidebar

You will be able to change the youtube version to that of youtube TV.

Enter the desired url: youtube.com/tv

In custom userAgent it will be by default written something else like different version, copy paste this code in that box.

enter a custom userAgent string:

Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Tizen 2.3 ) AppleWebKit/538.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/2.3 TV Safari/538.1

Click on the plus button to add the selection, sometimes YouTube.com/tv won't be added so you can also add again.

Open YouTube.com/tv on your browser and then it will tell your to activate your or sign up with your YouTube account but if you don't want you can skip this step.

Go to YouTube settings and click to pair with tv code from your phone and pc. Enter the code and your phone will be paired with your PC.

Now on your phone select the YouTube video you want to watch and choose the cast icon in your phone and choose the TV.

Disclaimer

So I use this laptop to watch videos as a TV replacement in that room. Earlier I used to watch it full screen using f11 but it is not working i guess.

Although trick is old but it still works but there's a catch it's only 480p at the moment.

This trick helps the browser into considering your computer into an Android TV.

This was working well in 2018 and was by default in 2014-2016 era I guess but was removed by YouTube.

This tutorial only works when you have Wi-Fi in your pc/laptop and connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

No ai or chatgpt was used in the production of this tutorial. Everything was first tested thoroughly and then written to avoid any issues.

Good day.

How to watch Jio tv on smart/Android TV via Kodi

Today we will learn how to implement jio tv app with the help of kodi app from Play Store. Don't get me wrong we can directly watch Jio tv on our tv but the app is optimised for mobile, so using it on a tv without a mouse or keyboard because a task. With kodi app you get to do everything with just the remote which came with the tv and the interface is relatively easy if you get the hang of it. Kodi can be difficult if you cannot figure out anything explained in this tutorial because you have never used this application.  Will try my level best to explain without any images because I don't have a massive following who reads my blogs and I don't want to waste my resources writing a good blog. Deal with it. This tutorial is written with Modi's matrix version your mileage may vary depending upon time.  1) First of all download kodi application from Play Store or download via apkmirror if your tv does not have an Play Store built in. I know you are the one who doesn't ha

How to block ads on your web browser

Today, we will learn how to block advertisements on your browser. Don’t get me wrong I am not against advertisements but sometimes it becomes nagging after getting hit by the same ad everywhere. I have an Pentium  4 processor based computer and it cannot handle day-to-day tasks of the modern web. So, to increase it’s life span I use ad block  and it is fairly usable  after that to use the computer. Install Ublock origin plugin for Firefox or Google chrome and it should do the job for almost all the average Joe. Here’s the link to add it into your Firefox browser https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/?utm_source=addons.mozilla.org&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=search I use Firefox as my default browser if you want it for google just click on the link and watch it’s developer name and icon you can easily find it in your chromium store. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm?hl=en If you like DNS level ad

How to Read Blocked Articles behind a Paywall for free

Today we will learn how to read blocked/ restricted content on the internet. Remember when you find a good article and you try to read it. You are welcomed by a only half an article or a pop-up to buy a subscription to read the whole article.  What if I say, that you can now read that exact article, for free.  There is a way but you should only follow this method if you don't have the means to support the particular organisation or you must be Jobless like me .  Before that if you want to try something you could try clearing your cookies on the browser and you might get to read the complete article. You can also try incognito mode to view that article it works for some websites. If all these methods are not working for you then let's get to the real deal. It requires enabling the developer mode of your browser and installing an extension. So let's begin.... 1) Download the extension from GitHub. It is not available in the official google extension repositories. https://gi
