How to use Android usb tethering on older macbooks

Today we will learn how to enable usb tethering from your Android device to macbook.  In this case I'm using a macbook pro mid 2010 model. It is running mac os 10.10 Yosemite.  There isn't any out of the box Android usb support for Mac os running Yosemite, although iphone might work but I've not tried as I don't have an iPhone. The wifi on this device is busted and the usb wifi gives crappy internet speed for larger downloads. So my best bet is to use internet via USB tethering.  Upon research I came to know about a software called ho rndis. Don't download it's latest version as it won't support Yosemite. Download it's version from 2013. I'll leave a link which worked for me here 1) Download https://github.com/jwise/HoRNDIS/releases/download/rel2/HoRNDIS-rel2.pkg 2) Once downloaded open the package it will tell mac os doesn't allow untrusted apps. It's okay. 3) Go to mac os system preferences ---> security & privacy ---> general ---
