Google messages: universal texting like iMessage for android by default
Watch free tv from the internet.
While I have cut from cable connection at the wake of expenses in our household. I’m looking for free alternatives to watch content online as we have a wifi connection. Let’s see what I can find this quest of research for online content, Although don’t quote me on the legality of the websites, these are something I found doing research and development. Officially a Cordcutter now.
All the options shown below requires a computer with internet connection, a mouse, keyboard.
Youtube is free but has some popular movies behind a paywall like rent or buy. So, I stick to free content on youtube and watch news channels and youtube channels which I like in my Subscriptions.
free serials and movie shows https://www.desi-serials.cc/ this website had tv channels, webseries and hindi movies.
If you live india today news channels like TimesNow, zoom, MirrorNow, ET Now visit here https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/live-tv. This is an Official website.
For Anime lover’s I found something which can be in English as well as Hindi try this website https://toonworld4all.me/ you can watch online or sign up.
On android you could download AnimeXstream app https://github.com/mukul500/AnimeXStream/releases/tag/v0.5.0
OMG! You guys couldn’t believe what I just saw, I am not posting torrent websites here because I don’t want to get in trouble with that stuff but I someone on the quest of content landed on a torrent website and it had a video player beneath it with a play/pause button. I mean this is huge to watch torrent without even downloading. I mean I know popcorn time did it earlier in their app but this was not even without an app. Could’nt believe we have got so much ahead! It is called Bitsearch.
There’s something called as IP Tv and it does wonderfull. You just need m3u based link and you can live stream TV in real time in your video player but I believe it requires it’s own post as it will get jumbled in this long post. Remind me to add link in this post for that Free live TV via VLC media Player.
If you live outside India you can try SlingTV. You could watch live tv shows there too, popular in the US.
All these methods have been tried as of writing this tutorial as of August 19th 2023, also cannot gurantee that these would always be working. Please do your due diligence and proceed with caution!
How to Read Blocked Articles behind a Paywall for free
Today we will learn how to read blocked/ restricted content on the internet. Remember when you find a good article and you try to read it. You are welcomed by a only half an article or a pop-up to buy a subscription to read the whole article.
What if I say, that you can now read that exact article, for free.
There is a way but you should only follow this method if you don't have the means to support the particular organisation or you must be Jobless like me.
Before that if you want to try something you could try clearing your cookies on the browser and you might get to read the complete article.
You can also try incognito mode to view that article it works for some websites.
If all these methods are not working for you then let's get to the real deal. It requires enabling the developer mode of your browser and installing an extension.
So let's begin....
1) Download the extension from GitHub. It is not available in the official google extension repositories.
https://github.com/iamadamdev/bypass-paywalls-chrome
This extension is available for both Mozilla Firefox as well as Google Chrome. Google Chrome means it will work with Chromium, Brave browser or any fork of Google chrome. You try and let me know in the comments section. I am trying this on Mozilla Firefox.
For Mozilla Firefox users the extension can be installed directly by clicking on the Download button from GitHub and it also supports automatic updates.
2) Unzip the file and you should have a folder named bypass-paywalls-chrome-master.
3)
In Chrome/Edge go to the extensions page (chrome://extensions
or edge://extensions
).
4) Enable Developer Mode.
5) Drag the bypass-paywalls-chrome-master
folder anywhere on the page to import it (do not delete the folder afterwards).
It will show the number of websites it will allow you to read the articles, in case you don't find your website in it then you are out of luck because their paywall might be too hardened to crack.
If you have logged in to one of the sites mentioned, you must logout and un-check that website otherwise it will log you out automatically which will hinder you workflow/experience.
6) Click on save.
If you are too much paranoid about your safety and privacy you could try this https://pastebin.com/e1cLHz9r
Look, there is no need to go through all this pain if you can just afford to pay for the news articles to read and you should pay for news articles to read. Support Independent news organisations.
This tutorial is written in goodwill and does not intend to harm any organisation. Viewers discretion is advised. No Generative AI software was used like Chat GPT to write this article. all my thoughts are my own

How to block ads on your web browser
Today, we will learn how to block advertisements on your browser. Don’t get me wrong I am not against advertisements but sometimes it becomes nagging after getting hit by the same ad everywhere. I have an Pentium 4 processor based computer and it cannot handle day-to-day tasks of the modern web. So, to increase it’s life span I use ad block and it is fairly usable after that to use the computer.
Install Ublock origin plugin for Firefox or Google chrome and it should do the job for almost all the average Joe.
Here’s the link to add it into your Firefox browser
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/?utm_source=addons.mozilla.org&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=search
I use Firefox as my default browser if you want it for google just click on the link and watch it’s developer name and icon you can easily find it in your chromium store.

If you like DNS level ad blocking you could try these options https://www.privacyguides.org/en/dns/

How to Listen to music ad free and download on the go
Today, we will learn how to listen to your favourite songs and download them for offline access on the go. This tutorial is applicable only for android users, sorry for iOS users. Your operating system does not allow installing apps outside the app store. Keep cribbling :P
The app name is called Fildo
Checkout this website if you want to download or try it out https://fildo.net/android/en/
If the website is down then it is probably been taken down but as of writing this article the website is still on.
Fildo does not hold any music files on it’s server.
It is just a front end to the music library if I am able to explain you correctly in lay-man terms.
They claim they are better than those spotify mods available online, take it with a pinch of salt as I have not used spotify myself personally.
How to add Flag Counter on your Website
Today we will learn how to add Flag Counter on your website. This tutorial will cater to blogger platform but it is the same for WordPress or any self hosted website.
Now the question arises why to Install a Flag Counter because we can manually check all the historic data from our own respective Dashboard, for Ex: blogger shows it in our dashboard.
Let's just say it looks nice on the homepage and I am very lazy to check the stats or it might look like I'm bragging about my blog whatever one might think.
First of all go the the Flag Counter website and customise the layout of your Flag counter widget according to your need.
https://www.flagcounter.com/index.html
Then you will find a yellow button on the right side saying Get your Flag counter and Et Voila!
You now need to copy the code for website.
Go to your blogger dashboard now, Click on Layout ----> add a new Gadget ----> choose HTML/JavaScript and paste the code copied from Flag Counter.
Click save and refresh your blog, it should be added on your website now!
I know this blog doesn't make sense but this post is kept for my future references whenever someone asks me if something like this can be done on their website. I will just share this blog post and spare myself the numerous hours of torture in return.
This is a one time Investment :P

Warpinator: Share files easily to each other locally without any cables
I heard about warpinator in 2022 when it was bundled by default in the linuxmint installation for easy file
sharing in the local area network.
Bro! What’s local area network?
Local Area Network is the network which you have hosted at your home. For example, if you have a wifi router
and 4-5 devices are connected to it. So, Each device is connected to each other via the wifi router.
With Warpinator you can share files to anyone who is logged in to the same network. I am also trying it for the
first time so let’s learn together.
Open warpinator by pressing the windows key or super key for linux enthusiasts.
It will tell you to input a secret password. Put it and if you have not set warpinator on any device it will show
“No other computer found...”
Now install warpinator on your android phone or windows laptop. As of today warpinator supports Windows,
Android, Linux and iOS.
For Windows it is called Winpinator https://winpinator.swisz.cz/
Android app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=slowscript.warpinator
After installing you will automatically see devices pop-up in both your devices.
Click on something to share and watch it go.
You better use this method if you care about privacy as all the protocols used in these are open sourced
meaning each line of code is available for the developers to check and audit. If there would be any
discrepencies it would had been called out already.
I know there’s something like google nearby Share and it’s good with android ecosystem there’s no doubt.
We don’t know the protocols and code used beneath as it is closed source.

PC Build under Rs 26000
There's a long story to this. If you can't read just scroll down to the end to find the specifications.
Ashik and I had decided that we would go buy a new PC because the old one was messing up with my daily flow of purpose which was basic YouTube videos for study. My old PC had a Pentium processor which was a dual core CPU with 2GB of ram in 2023, would you imagine :P
We decided to meet at 12 at Vashi as I had my ibps RRB clerk exam on that day which was at Powai. There was megablock on that day as it was a Sunday. I had to come via thane. At thane, I already saw from my m-indicator app that there was a train to Vashi at 11:20, while i was crossing the platforms, it was already 11:15 so I thought naturally the incoming train would be of Vashi. I could'nt even check the indicator as the platform was full of people by the time I reached there I boarded the train. It was jam-packed.
To my surprise when the train didn't turned at Turbhe, I noticed that I have boarded the wrong train and I will have to align before it gets to far as there was a megablock. No trains were running on the harbour lines. So I had to get off and catch a bus to Vashi from Juinagar Railway Station. Ashik also reached Vashi Plaza in the mean time.
We asked the shopkeeper for a PC build between 20-25k, he showed us an intel build with i5 10400 I believe with 500GB SSD, 8gb ram, which was satisfactory but I watched Explaining Computer's guy YouTube Video which featured this build which I built. It took nearly 2 hours for the build as I was getting an b320 motherboard which was swapped to b450 with the same price budget. For trails we got Windows 11 installed till I setup my pc, anyways now it runs LinuxMint. Journey about LinuxMint would be posted soon!
