If you have a steam account, it is just one click install and all dependencies and everything will be automatically installed via wine and proton layer. But if you are lazy or don't want to add your card details on steam,
Follow this guide to install cs 1.6 non steam.
First download cs 1.6 warzone https://www.cswarzone.com/
Then download Microsoft fonts, you can get from wherever you want but if you want to try get it from here https://www.w7df.com/p/windows-7.html
Now install wine from your software package installer or you can use sudo apt install wine
Now extract those Microsoft fonts and copy paste them into . wine/drivec/windows/font folder
To access the .wine folder make sure to press control+f to view hidden files.
Now open cs1.6 installer by right clicking on it and open in other program. Select wine here by typing in the dialog box below and follow the installation as you on any windows system.
Just select the installation of the program to drivec/programfilesx86 as the path to install counter strike.
You can launch the game from the desktop shortcut.
